04/2021 UPCONline - 3rd Conference on Properties, Design, and Applications of Upconversion Nanomaterials
After UPCON 2020 in Paris last Easter was unfortunately delayed, Louise, Hannah and Matt were delighted to attend the online alternative this spring. Louise gave a talk about the group's work with upconverting phosphors monitoring enzyme catalysis; Hannah presented a poster about the detection of uranyl(VI), and was extremely pleased to win a poster prize; and Matt sat patiently through all of the nanoparticle talks before jumping in enthusiastically on discussions about molecular upconversion. It was a great chance to catch up with other European and global researchers in the field, and while we'd have rather been in France, at least this way Hannah could attend with a cat in her lap!
