Our lab is prepared for air sensitive chemistry and active research with actinides. The lab has a number of fumehoods, Schlenk lines and glove boxes to carry out this work.
We also have a range of instruments available, including a UV-VIS, Raman microscope and fluorescence spectrometer with time resolved measurement capabilities as well as access to the university's NMR, IR and Mass Spec facilities.

As part of the CRR, we have access to a number of instruments including a state-of-the-art fluorescence spectrometer with steady state, time resolved and variable temperature capabilities (313 - 20 K) and a fluorescence microscope with multiphoton FLIM and PLIM capabilities.
For more information on the capabilities of the CRR and calls for access to facilities have a look at the NNUF website.

The group also has some space at the PSI where they have access to a Ti:sapphire laser that enables them to perform two photon and upconversion experiments, as well as a fluorescence microscope with FLIM and PLIM capabilities.
